Allotropes of carbon are different molecular configurations (allotropes) that pure carbon can take.

These allotropes include:

diamond,
lonsdaleite
amorphous carbon,
graphite,
fullerene,
carbon nanotube,
carbon nanofoam (newly discovered in 1997),
quasam
